Beethoven's "A Therese" Piano Sonata

Beethoven singled out this brief sonata as a favorite, along with the "Appassionata" and "Hammerklavier;" he dedicated the work to his student Therese von Brunsvik, a Hungarian countess who created some of Europe's first nursery schools.
