Nismet

On a housing estate on the outskirts of Lille, 16-year-old Nismet lives with their depressed mother, Najoua. She has a partner, Denis. Tyrannical and violent, he tries to rape Nismet. She runs away. Left to her own devices, moving from one home to another, she will have to find her way to emancipation and secure her independence.
