Beethoven, Overture Leonore No. 3, Op. 72a

Beethoven wrote four overtures for his opera 'Fidelio,' originally titled 'Leonore.' His third attempt remains a popular freestanding work. Czech conductor Rafael Kubelik leads the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in this historic performance.
